I am always amazed by all the genuinely awesome people I meet through my Etsy world, and Pamela is definitely one of them! I found her Blog on one of the discussions on Etsy and have been hooked ever since! I have literally LOL'd at many of her posts, and her blog is so easy to maneuver through. And we all know the pink glitter makes me smile!
She was sweet enough to collaborate with me on a give away on one of my items from my shop which I greatly appreciate....and yes, I loved her blog before she did this! Ha
Anyway, if you are a blogaholic like I am, you have GOT to check it out!
A Little Glitter
Mother of FIVE BOYS....three teenagers and twin two year olds. I keep it real at all times! Sometimes it gets me in trouble, sometimes it gets a laugh. One thing for sure, you will leave my blog feeling like Mom of the Year!

The Month of May
The month of May means so many things to so many people. May flowers, Mother's Day, May Day with May pole included, picnics in the park....
I, however, am a Hoosier so to me it means RACE SEASON! The month is full of Mini Marathon cheering (I cheer, not run!), getting sun burned while watching practice sessions, pretending to hide my eyes while driving past the speedway the night before the race, Carb day, and the grand finale...the Indianapolis 500!
It's an Indiana time honored tradition, so everybody now, join in "Back Home Again in Indiaaaana"!!

Hi, my name is Peggy, and I'm addicted...
to PAINT! Yes, paint. Seriously if it can be reached with a roller, paint brush or spray paint, I'm all over it! The walls of my house have been every color from baby poop brown, to yellow stripes, to aqua blue. I decided, on a whim (typical for me) to paint my kitchen cabinets white...why stop there when you can antique them too? I HAD to have antiqued white kitchen cabinets! A couple of quick tutorial reads and I was sanding, painting and staining away!
This, I believe, is what led me to the opening of my Etsy shop.
I had recently decided to stay at home after working 20 years as a physical therapist assistant. And needed a way to earn extra money. I had also recently seen on line how to paint a magnetic chalk board wall in your home....yep, HAD to have one RIGHT THEN! More perusing=discovery of up cycling frames into chalk boards....SWOON! I HAD to make one...then another...and another!
My parents are Etsy shop owners and are successful at it, So I HAD to open one too! I tell ya, if it wasn't for their expertise, I don't know if I would have ever sold my first one. Needless to say I'm not the only one who sells chalk boards on Etsy. But I did sell my first one, and second...I've never looked back! This has been the best way, for me, to do something for "me", have a creative outlet, and to earn a lil money too! Thanks, again, Mom and Dad!!
